Solid State Detector Lab

The solid state detector laboratory contains state-of-the-art equipment for testing and characterizing material for high resolution x-ray and gamma ray detectors.

ABOVE: Amlan Datta (PhD student) measures CZT detector response to ionizing radiation. BELOW: Abraham Jones (IT Coordinator) adjusts the high-intensity microscope to analize physical defects in the crystals.
